Silt Curtains and Turbidity Monitoring

The silt curtains are delivered pre-assembled and connected with ropes at five-metre intervals. They are normally packed in bulk bags or on pallets, with one end accessible at the top, allowing for efficient and controlled deployment directly from shore or from a vessel. During installation, the flotation elements are filled with air, ensuring optimal buoyancy and stability. This provides correct positioning at the water surface and facilitates a fast and safe installation, even under challenging conditions.

For projects requiring environmental monitoring, the silt curtains can be combined with turbidity meters that continuously document water quality both inside and outside the enclosed area. This provides valuable documentation of the effectiveness of the measures and contributes to the safe execution of works in sensitive aquatic environments.
