When working with water under high pressure, eye injuries can occur at pressures as low as 7 bar, and skin injuries at around 80 bar. A typical pressure washer operates at 200 bar or more.
With ultra-high pressure (UHP), or water jetting, pressures can reach 1200 bar or higher - enough to cut through concrete. It is therefore not difficult to imagine the kind of injuries such forces can inflict on the human body.
